Hi everyone. My name is Jordan - I live in Orlando Florida. There is a westfalia camper vanagon 1989 bus for sale in Chattanooga that i am interested in purchasing. However, I'd really like to make a wise purchasing decision. So I thought I would search to see if there was a VW club in the area - to my luck there is!

So I'm hoping to be welcomed by your community and ask some advice.

What are some of the most crucial question i need to be asking the seller before i decide to buy?

Head gasket failure seems to be a biggish issue with water boxer Vanagons. Ask for maintenance info and if there are any problems. If you need someone to go look at it, just ask and maybe someone can go look at it for you as an independent 3rd party. Heck, we might even know the vehicle already!!!

just a guest on the forums but looks like a scam to me too.  ask specific address  and when you can have someone look at it.  most sellers are honest but buyer beware
