I am Ainokea the wife is Ku'uipo. We live in Honolulu Hawaii. I am a retired VW mechanic and have owned a number of VW's. My current VW is a 73 std. bug with a 1956cc engine breathing thru a pair of 44IDF Webers.

That 1956cc sounds like the beast!

Thanks Papakoch for the welcome. My 1956cc engine was ok when I was able to drive but after a couple of surgeries I had to power it down for my wife to drive in city traffic. She doesn't allow me to drive but does allow me to work on it. I give thanks for small favors. I posted some photos in the photo gallery of a couple of my VW's of past years and my, HER, 73. The engine was built in 07 and the photo was taken just after install.
