Back in the Bug Again

« on: December 12, 2011, 03:09:26 PM »
Just wanted to introduce myself.  I haven't had a bug in 30 years, but took the plunge yesterday on a '77 Beetle.  It doesn't run, yet!  Looking forward to meeting some of you and finding out if there is anyone in Chickamauga or Fort Oglethorpe that can steer me toward parts, etc.

I live just down the road in LaFayette and work in Chickamaga with ASBug.  Feel free to jump in and ask questions anytime.  There is lots and lots of knowledge buried in some of the minds that lurk around here, and more often than not, they are glad to share it.

We have a club meeting next Monday night at Wally's on Ringgold Rd. in East Ridge (it's right next to I-75).  It will be our Christmas party and we'll be exchanging gifts via "Chinese Auction"  . . . it's always a lot of fun.  If you want to participate, bring a gift (preferably VW or auto related) with a max. value of $10.  Even if you don't want to exchange gifts, we would still enjoy you visiting with us.
