Starting to think I have a bad problem

looks like there would have to be some modifications, if you can put a v8 in a beetle, you can put a 2001 cabrio glove box in a 95, i have seen people put the later model cabrio dash i an mk2 rabbit

Here's my dash. I want to replace the knee pad below the airbag with a glove box so I can lock up an ipod or something small when my top is down.

I'm used to a huge SUV with 40 cupholders to hold all my stuff and now I'm getting used to 2 tiny cupholders and no lockable storage except the trunk.

I am sure we can get it to fit, the cup holders will barley hold a 12 oz can but at least it get good gas milage

I just called and got an estimate to replace the ignition coil. I can get them to do it a lot cheaper than it would be for us to fool around and break something, so I think I'll let them do it.

I just appreciate the opinions from you guys letting me know what you think it might be.
