Mobile A/C Service

« on: August 24, 2010, 09:46:44 AM »
Hey y'all.  I'm getting ready to finally get started on the work on my Corrado but I need to get the refrigerant removed from the A/C system.  The tags are expired so I'd rather not take the chance of getting a ticket driving it somewhere.

So does anyone know if there's someone in town that does mobile A/C service and will come to the house to remove the refrigerant from the system?

Thanks

bushey does a great job,  he just pulls the line loose,  i think this time he might not have his face in the way though,  we had to test the eye wash station for the first time

Travis, I have no words to describe my disappointment at the fact that the incident wasn't caught on video.

You should start a blog with this stuff in it, seriously.

Holy Lord.  And he has reproduced... twice... and another on the way in case you didn't know Hal....

I don't know of anyone right off hand who does mobile A/C repair, but Andy that used to write service at the dealer did buy out Mobile air on Cowart Street, and has closed that one down, and re-opened another shop on Rossville Blvd I think.  He may be an option.  If not, I was thinking about an episode of "Dirty Jobs" that featured a salvage yard and how they do it there.... I think i have said enough....

Yeah, I was trying to avoid doing it "Dirty Jobs"/Bushey style.  I'll try to find out the name of the shop Andy's running now and give him a call.

Oh, and I heard the news about there being a Bushey offspring trifecta...

Yeah, that's kind of what I'm leaning towards doing Travis.  I've got to get some fresh gas for it and get the jump box charged up but I'll probably be out there tomorrow.

Oh, and if I get pulled over I'll just tell them "Bushey does it all the time, he said it would be ok".
