2012 Passat 2.5

« on: November 19, 2012, 06:02:50 PM »
So I am a Teachers Assistant in an engineering course at UTC and for a senior project, one group is setting up a dyno with a Passat engine that VW donated. They are having trouble understanding the fuel system, most specifically, the fuel return line and where exactly it comes off the engine.

Does anyone know how to describe this to me so I could pass it along? Perhaps Travis could snap a picture tomorrow?

I believe the fuel return is built in to the fuel filter or fuel pump,  in the old ones It was def the fuel filter

Ok, I haven't seen the engine test center and dyno yet, but I will pass that information along.

Thanks!

Checked out a passat ,  did not see fuel filter next to tank,  suspect it is in the fuel pump
