Wtb looking for a motor for my bug

My motor let go last weekend so I'm looking for another one. I would like to go bigger  than the stock 1300 I have. Let me know what you have. Thanks

You might find one for sale as a take-out, but if you want a rebuilt one locally, check with Bob Hixson. He does decently priced rebuilds. He is located in Hixson, near Big Ridge.

If it is the guy I saw, he had reasonable prices on rebuilt engines.
not showy, but looked like pretty good rebuilds.
Does any one actually have his number?

There was another guy selling long blocks next to Tony Walker at the show, but Mr. Hixson was set up behind Jack from Bugstuff.
