Bump.  $200 saves it from the crusher . . .
I would like to go and look at it after work this week.

don't twist my arm!

If you really want it gone... and the club christmas party is next week... and there is a dirty santa/chinese auction... you could wrap it up as a $10 gift  ;D ;D

I hope David gets it!
Don't hold your breath little man ;D.  I think you or KC should have it. Then let the games begin.

I'm interested too, but I don't really have the room for it.

Good idea, but if I wrapped it up, the value of the wrapping paper would double the value of the car.  Maybe I can wrap it in old newspapers . . .    :-\  And David doesn't need to end up with it.  He's just now ran out of Dasher parts to throw at me . . . He doesn't need to be re-supplied!   8)

Nope.  Putting a sewing machine or two up for sale on Craigslist later tonight.  I need buggy money.   ;D

What do you need for the buggy?

Engine, brakes, tires, a little re-wiring, swing axle boots, a windshield and some welding skills that I don't yet posses, but plan to aquire.  And seats.  Seats would be nice.  I've got some 96 Passat seats that would be great, but I would need weather resistant seat covers and somehow attach them to the pans.  The rear "legs" are a little too wide fit between the side and tunnel.  But a set of stock pre-71 seats would make it easy.

What are you thinking for an engine? I have two longblocks in my garage. One is a 40hp that turns, but is otherwise unknown. The other is a 1600, but I was told it got a slight knock and was replaced, so it might need a little polishing and some bearings.

We will talk tomorrow
