Does anyone know of a good alignment shop I could take my Jetta to in order to get the front end aligned? Preferably in the Northwest Georgia area, but Chattanooga would be fine too.

Does Village Volkswagen do it? Would they be too expensive? Since they sponsor the club, I'd like to take it there maybe.

I put this on another post before I read this one . . .

Try Doyle's on Cross Street between 2A and Cloud Springs.  They are very reasonable and have done a great job on Beetles and Super Beetles that I've taken to them.  Plus, they are right around the corner from you.   8)

I forgot about Doyles. I have not used them personly, but I had a very good friend who swore by them. I have met them and they seem to know what they were doing.  Check them out Russ.

Well I got my alignment today at Doyle's. Only $30, and it's much straighter now.

The only thing he couldn't do was line up the steering wheel right...so even though the car drives straight, the wheel is skewed. He told me most European cars don't have a master spline on the column though...so I could just unbolt the steering wheel and line it up. Now I need to hunt down a large enough socket to loosen the bolt.

You need a 27MM Deep Well socket.  Takes about 30 seconds to fix.  A minute if your slow.  Takes me about a minute and half.
