Hi Volks Folks,
I've been trying for a year+ to get my '75 bus back in shape, but nobody wants to even sneeze on the fuel injection model.  A phone description from Harry Gwynne (?) here in the Battlefield got the ole' "it's running rich response," which shouldn't be so hard to figure out.  Ready now to sell it w/o fixin' it!  Hey, think Kyle in Ringgold could make a masterpiece (call me back!).  Anyway, glad to introduce myself.

Not sure what a 1600 upright is...not mechanically-inclined.  This is my third bus in 26 years, mostly driven there etc. and with plenty of VW shops.  Have not been so lucky here.  The engine is in super-good shape but I changed the oil filter awhile back and it refused to start afterward.  The symptoms prior to the filter change were a shut-down similar to a flooded engine, taking an hour or so to wait it out and start again.  Well, to tell you the truth, I am looking to sell this bright green bus to someone who will be passionate about these matters.
