I must have absolute silence!
:o  I figured you were too young to get that one . . .
I am...but I knew it anyways!

I remember Carson with my mom when I was a little kid.
I'm not going there :o :o :o
Nick, let me fix that for you before someone (Ret.Bugtech) gets the wrong idea . . .

I remember watching "The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson" with my mom when I was a little kid.

Yeah... I had "watching it" and went back to edit it to clarify that it was Carson and not Carnac. Oh well

Don't feel to bad about it Nick. I thought I was Jay Leno's lost son until I found out I was old enough to be his Father. What a bummer. >:( Look at the fun I could have had in his little garage. ;D ;D

I pulled out my $89 Harbor Freight flux core welder today and was going to try to start teaching myself how to weld up the 10,000 holes in this thing.  The wire won't feed.  Good thing I got the 2 year extended warranty.  Too bad it expired last November.   >:(     ****!

Why won't it feed? Bad switch? Bad motor? Is everything hood up right?

The wire started feeding and then about 5 seconds into the first weld, it got stuck in the tube. I finally got it pulled apart and got the wire out of the tube.  It didn't seem to be kinked anywhere, but the wire had rust on it.   I put it back together and it is working again.  Now it's dark.  Tomorrow it's supposed to rain.  SOMEDAY.  SOMEDAY SOON.  I'm ready to go play in the woods!!!!

:(   :'(  Well, I finally had to admit that I was never going to do anything with this buggy.  It deserves better than sitting in my yard and rusting away.  I'm passing it and a few parts I had collected for the project on to a new owner.  Don't worry, it's staying kind'a close to home.  I've been promised a ride in it when it's done.   ;)

wait... which one did you make a deal with the Godfather for? This one or the crusty one down at the cabin?

Or have you been making multiple deals lately?

The Godfather is getting the crusty rail home built rail buggy that's sitting down at the cabin.  It will be parted out.  This one is going to another location.  The new owner has promised to love it and rub it and pet it and call it George.  No, wait, I'm getting this deal mixed up with a Bugs Bunny cartoon I was just watching.  ;D  Anyway, yeah, I've been making multiple deals.

KC didn't get this one.  In fact, he past it up and called me and talked me into going and looking at it.  He said if I looked at it, I would buy it.  He was right.  It's going to Ringgold.
