got the back window in, now for some windshield rubber,  got a section cut from the 65 to patch the floor pan

From the parts I have sold and stuff that has been traded I am ahead of the game, the 67 had a rotted pan from the seat frame back and the one on the 65 was perfect, little welding and she will be gold

got all the windows in the car, in true rat style i had the wrong rubber for the rear and cut a small section out to fit, and pieced together two side window seals to make the front winshield fit

working on the steering linkage, looks like i will need to shorten the steering shaft in the car, so far everything is bolting together

attempted to cut though the steering shaft of the 67, but it does not seem hollow all the way up, the one from the 65 is,  need to get it to my house i guess

gotta sort out some wiring to the engine, looks a little more simple than a passat comfort module wiring harness, i sould be able to handle it,  looks like a black wire melted the wire all the way to the front

Did you use a PTO drive shaft?

PTO?,  alot of people use a super beetle u joint system and extend it,  or there are companies like chirco.com and others that sell all kinds of u jointd and adapters

Did you use a PTO drive shaft?

ordered a 7/8 pillow bearing today and will build a braket for it to hold the box end of the steering shaft, this seened like the most secure way since it will be taking the abuse of the steering box
