All right Boone, Just because you are going to have a really nice Bug when its finished and you have flushed out a covey of retired VWs, You can stop rubbing our noses in it.  I think the reason those VWs are there is the fact they drove into W.V. and could not find their way home. Another reason they are still there is the fact that W.V. seceded from VA. and the Confederacy at the outbreak of "The War of Northern Aggression" so no Southern boy with legs of equal length  would dare sneak across the border to effect a rescue. This is the reason the South lost the war. They had no VWs for transporting troops to the front. Now doesn't that make you feel bad?
" What do you call this red fast-back car?)  How about " A really RUSTY red fast-back car. It probley needs to be left to its fate. Some of those early Bugs need to be looked at closely for restoration parts. I saw a lot of "stuff" just from your pics. I wish I had a pocket full of money and a trailer with one tire taller than the other.

thats too funny David.. I been putting under-pinning around the bottom of my mobile home,  and Lowes laughed at me when I wanted 6 ft. sheets for one side and 10 inch sheets for the other.  :?   and those suspension guys on Samba cant figure why I want to put Airbags only on one side of my Bug.    kidding.
dont mean to be rubbing noses, But I thought the pics would help if yall will help remind me of things I should pull off these cars.  other than the obvious.

Boone, Its hard to tell you what to save. All those 60's bugs need to be gone through with a fine tooth comb. Matter of fact they need to moved, like to your back yard ?   sunroof stuff, switches, doors / handles, early pop out side glass, I could go on and on with just looking at what I saw in the pics. There is a lot of good stuff sitting there.  I think the white Sq Bk is a 66 or 67 with the small tail light. The 3rd number in the vin # would tell. 3# is the year. Nice find
