working on my old gti in the shop, 96 vrg lowered with bilstiens and shrek intake and cams and nuespeed chip, kinda wish i had traded when the offer was made

That reminds me of Brandon Warren's old yellow GTI he pieced together. Last time I saw that thing, it was dead in his parents barn... The stories I could tell on that car....

I think i know that car, i told the owner of this car it is not as powerful as it used to be, we found that the vaccum accuator for the in take was bad, now we have to try to track down the ford replacement

Well I have personally ridden along in Brandon's while smoking a mustang... was interesting to see the look on the other guy's face as he got left behind at a pretty good pace... Those Vr6's are pretty dang fast when tuned right.  I even watched him in a burn out competition up in Crossville break his pressure plate into 3 pieces, and still drive it back home. I did shake my head though when he decided the engine mounts needed to be made out of aluminum blocks... yes he did it.
