My New 56 Oval!!!!!!!

For what it's worth...or not worth, I wouldn't touch the paint. It's got a great patina that couldn't be made to look better (to me, anyway). I would deffinately drop it just enough to fill the wheel wells. Most all cars look better lowered at least a little. You hardly ever see a prototype or new model show car that isn't lower than the actual production car. They just look smoother, racier, sleeker, cooler... The only thing that would keep me from lowering this car a little would be if I could afford a full-blown "Pebble Beach winning" restoration. If you do anything or nothing, it's still an awesome little car. You may not want to put an expensive paint job on it because I'm pretty sure drool leaves a permanent mark!

Justin, Like Bugnut said, Get a birth certificate before you do anything.

I second that motion!  Hey, it's your car.  You can paint it any color you want to . . . as long as it's the orginal color!

Hey Justin the little car looks great on the road! Wanna trade? You can relax a little bit about your taillights. Those snowflakes are good and bright. And that never-dimming blue cell phone light can't hurt!

Justin, I'm watching you "vary vary" carefully. The Dasher parts launcher is "locked and loaded"

I guess the good side to it is that if he does something stupid to it and  David starts launching Dasher parts towards the "triangle" I might be able to get my Dasher back on the road!

My front suspension is in pretty bad need of a tune up Rick.  I heard you can really help with early front beams.

Whoa Nellie.....David are you putting Justin before FeeBee? I have been in line for 3 years. Hey just so you know. I ordered a dash pad from MA Motorworks last year and paid $160.00 we opened it last weekend and it was crap. I ordered one from CIP1 for the same price and it's 150% better. The first one was nothing but foam and the screw holes didn't match up. The second one was reinforced with a metal insert and much more desireable. So there you go the tip of the day. To bad I waited a year to out it on now I'm stuck with it.

Nope. FeeBee is in line and very soon now.  The Garagemahal is very close to being finished inside so I can clean up and go to work. As far as you ordering parts , you still need to talk and pay attention to people that have been there and done that so you can stop getting stuck with all this junk. No wonder that Richard is getting P.O. at FeeBee.
"IF" I do Justin's work ,it is what you call bench work and does not interfere with FeeBee.

You are right David but this was not a electrical part it was a stupid dash pad you would think I could not go wrong there. Hey we have also decided to change that distrubutor we are going to let you order what you want and make it work with the carb we have. I remember you telling us that distributor would not work and you were right (imagine that) Anywhoo my next assignment is putting in her stereo and having her completely rewired. Any takers? I'm trying my best to stimulate the economy. Recon Rick on 58 does rewiring? I am sooooo close to being finished with the interior. Rick put in that new dash yesterday and once again he said this was it!! I better find someone to finish her out cause He was FINISHED  heard that before he he he
