My 72 Bug

This is my 72 std.Bug.I've had it about a month now and have done lots of clean-up,re-gasketed the motor and added some new stuff.This is how ot looked the day I got it.I going to take some pics of it now and post them later.I'm just having fun working on it.

Looks great.  Did you buy this off of Craigslist?  I think I remember seeing it on there, maybe Atlanta area.

Yes,I traded my Jeep for it.He had it on Craigslist and on The Samba.

Nice looking car! I have always liked yellow and white :) I think that was part of the attraction to my current car :)

It looks a little different from the day you saw it.I,m getting new front tires mounted in the morning and I will try to take some pics to see if you can notice the differences.

looks just like my 1969 beetle. The same paint scheme and colors. Guess you will have to paint it so you will have one different from mine....... :D

Here are some updated pics as of today.New tires on front,mud flaps,painted roof rack silver,raised back-end a couple inches with coil over shocks and a lot of other little stuff.Thanks for all the comments.Now I just need to start coming to the meetings.

Add some more stuff and painted the wheels silver.I think it looks a little better.
