Dude has your old 65 back on The Samba for $8k or trade. He has it listed in the trade section.

Wow!  I thought it would have taken a little longer than that!   The guy really was just looking for something that would be a little easier to move then a unassembled kit car, he only had the 356 for a year and I don't think he did anything but put it in the garage... I never thought it was his cup o tea, the tuning through a laptop may just have been a little too much...I think he was more used to turning a distributor and changing jets.  He seemed like a nice guy, hope it works out for him!

Thanks, did alot of measuring before I bought them.  I had to trim the fender lips on the inside, but they should clear pretty well.  Can't wait to get it on the road!

Here are a few more updated pic's.  Much of the interior is in, all the carpet, and I made the door panels. Just got the windshield the other day, this is a trial fit.  Next will be the dash cover and seats.  I have all the lights working and it will hit about 70mph pretty easily! :P   Sure will be a blast with a big engine and a little power adder!  I need some seats...been sitting on a couple bags of rags...not the best for turning! :D

Here is a shot of the completed car with it's new owners.  They flew in from LasVegas and drove it home...or are still driving it home as I post.. ;D That's a long trip and they picked it up yesterday.
