With rick's help the beam is ready for paint, 6" narrowed, no shocks, and adjusters,  this is more work than i thought.

It's not that bad.  I thought the hardest part was cutting the uprights off.  The rest was pretty simple.  Mine is complete except for the steering box bracket.  I have to wait until I get my body back on (which will be about a year from now) so that I know where to re-weld it.  Looks good.

I have shortned the tie rods, i still need to put the spring plates in, then i need to pull my beam to finish putting the arms and the link pins and the drop spindles.

I have not yet shortened the tie rods or spring plates.  Seeing as I have to have the body back on mine to fully finish my beam, I am in no hurry.

Finally got the beam together, balanced the 145-65-15's, and put the beam in the car lower the car down and bent my tag.  Still have to finish the job and adjust everthing.
