and BTW Len Hoffman is a great guy to work with. I will probably be buying a set of heads from him next year for the bus. His arent cheap, but they are a good deal cheaper than Raby's. $1,300 vs $1,800. I think its well worth it.

There is a machine shop on hwy 58 doing the work...Len said the head has to be machined slightly for the seats to fit.  And no its not $1300 per head... thats for a pair!

Just dropped the new valves off... They showed me the "rebuilt" valves.... they were close to being paper thin on the seating surface of them... he said they have been reground beyond normal usefullness... nice to know GEX considers these still good... 


Anywho... should have the head fixed and ready to slap back on sometime next week!

Just think, You might have a head full of those lovely valves on the other side. I think I would be a little worried about them.  You already half there.    Its a long way back if something happens on the other side.
