Yep, More like the desert tan one. Notice the road clearence .It has the same reduction gear  tranny I have.  My car will have a lot more "stuff" hanging off of it and tied on the roof rack. Also will be camo'd  four color not unlike France summer 1940. What do you think ?

I think I need to do some searchin with my army pals for some old school junk laying around the motor pool.Maybe some fuel cans, ammo crates etc...  The 4 color is the same as used by german airborne trrops or the panzer grenadiers type. I think the panzer ones use the zigzag pattern but the colors were similar.I could be way off . But I do think we could rummage up some decent surplus to spruce up the look.

Thanks Scott,  Don't knock yourselve out as I have a lot of "stuff" other than the Radio.  You are correct on the camo. info.  From the photos I have , the patterns and some colors were pretty much up to the different units and appears that they could have been painted in the field. It looks like most of the cars came off the line were painted a solid color like the field gray, desert tan, black and if I read this correctly a shade of blue for the Luff. I have a few color ID charts that I got from different sites and it looks like I have pretty much a free hand at what colors to use depending where the car was being used and what time of year it was. This is going to be fun if I can "gett'er dun"
