Hello, im Ian, im 17 years old. I own a 1967 duneBUGgy that is under reconstruction, I also own a 1999 Audi A4 1.8T. Im part of www.tndubs.com this is how i found out about BPX. Anyways back to the Bug....i recieved the bug free from my great uncle in fall 2007 full details here --> http://www.tndubs.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4397 Ive been working on getting it road legal since then (minus december and january-too cold) Im hoping to have the project done before BPX (short deadline either way im bringing her) Ive replaced all the brakes myself including lines, pads, internals, drums everything. Ive also pop-riveted new floorpans in, as well as some paint work.

Any questions ask  8)

Yeah its a 67' its got a 68' rear end and transmission in it though. The engine is bored out and cammed, with performance pistons.

I see, well he "made" the car how it is back in the day when vw's were a dime-a-dozen. He would go around buying them for 50 and 100 bucks. He owned a repair shop. Needless to say, ive got lost of parts sitting around the barn.

What the heck you mean I haven't seen anything like that '67 bug.  Thats all we had back then.  Bondo Buggys, Baja Bugs, Rail Buggys were not even a gleam in anybodys eyes yet.
I got tickled with the post this kid put up on the TN Dub site telling about getting this Bug from his Great Uncle who is now in a wheelchair after suffering a " Hard attack".
Ian, Please I mean no disrespect to you or your Great Uncle, but you will have to admit that statement was funny as hell.   I'm holding my breath now
