Tony, Do you remember the old street rod "saying" back in the day ? " If it don't go,chrome it "  It will run just fine.  Pilots (airplane drivers) don't have "comebacks".  I believe it was Adolf Galland(German fighter ace)  once stated during WW-2 if the Americans threw a rock into the air, it would fly. Must have been talking about the "Jug" P-47 Thunderbolt.
