I removed the motor for a little cleaning and re-wiring.  It's got a whopping 1/3 hp power plant!  IF I could fit in it and IF I didn't bust through the fiberglass, I don't think it would have enough power to lift me.  But . . . I'm on a diet . . . 100 pounds from now I'm gonn'a give it try! :D

The new coin box is intalled and all the scary wiring has been removed and replaced.  And beleive me, it was really scary.  I'm lucky it didn't shock someone at the Krystal last Saturday!  I have a brand new car wash vacuum timer . . . I've got to find an electrical box it will fit in and mount it, connect a few wires and I'll be on my way to riches, 25 cents at a time.    It will give credit for up to 15 coins, but I'm setting it so it only has to have one to start it.  I can set it anywhere from 1 to 4000+ seconds per coin . . . I'm starting at 64 seconds per coin and I'll see how it goes from there.

Hey Zen, this is carol and I was excited to see you and your beetle kiddie ride in the back of your truck yesterday going down 27 toward lafayette. I was hoping you would know who we were, me and tommy. I was trying to show you that I had my VW shirt on from the bug a paluza. My husband said that it looked like i was trying to show you something else, anyway you were grinning from ear to ear so I think you knew who we were. I love the car, it looks great. We took our kids to lake winnie last weekend and I made my son who is 10 years old and big for his age too, ride this kiddie ride so i could get his picture. I also made my 14 year old daughter get on it but she couldnt fit and jumped off before I could snap her picture.

The kiddie ride was hit at Stevenson.  I had it set up out of the main flow of traffic and didn't advertise it and still came home with $20 in quarters . . . probably would of had more, but I kept opening up the coin box and recycling the quarters giving kids free rides.  Business really picked up Sunday when these folks showed up with a $3 per person hand pumped spinning ride . . . with it there, a quarter per person seemed like a bargin!     Anyway, it was enjoyed by kids, adults, an at least two dogs.  25 more shows like this one and I'll hit my break even point and start making money!
