Bought at BP 9 by Rick for sale at BP10. Traded for it after the show.
After tearing it down and freshining it up it's almost ready to terrorize speed humps and potholes city wide. The 67 is on jack stands resto to follow.

You have just one more chance to change your wicked ways before I break out the Dasher parts and you know what that means

You threat has no merit,Zen has all the dasher parts. If you could throw some 40 hp parts that would be ok.

I have a good short block already built and thats about all I have.
I guess the next step is to find pistons and cylinders and a set of heads.
I would have abandoned the project, but it happens to be about right serial number wise for the 62.

I know the pistons are getting harder to find but I dont mind a "big bore" set.

Be picky on the heads and try to find a set with the square boss where the rocker sit (like a 1600)   I forget the part # , but do know that the square boss head came on the '65s and possibly on the late '64s. The old round boss head had a "thing about the rocker arm studs stripping out and the repair kit is very hard to find.
I'm OK with the big bore P/C as a last resort. Somebody has to have some 77mm 1200 P/C somewhere.  The Formula V boys are getting them somewhere.

I totaly agree not to get round boss heads.  77's aren't impossible to find but a good set will cost a bit.The big bore kits are everywhere and pretty cheap. But if I was gunna run a 40 I'd run just a straight factory 40.I just dont see hot rodding a 36'r or a 40 anytime soon.
