98 beetle and 2001 passat

Picked up 2 this week,  5 speed 2.0 beetle pretty bare bones,  already have it running,  needs a little tlc,  2001 passat auto facelift 1.8t working on swapping motor and turbo

BTW, Travis... you need to just start a rolling thread like KC did... makes things easier to keep up with.   ;D

Got the passat started tonight,  need to do the finish touches,  bought a 2005 passat tdi,  my first diesel

Got the engine in the passat,  get ready to pull in out and hear a crunch sounds,  go to investigate and find hole near the out put shaft da$&

Welded the trans,  did a software update and Fried the ECM,  ordered a new one from Germany,  my new tdi ,  excited about it,  my first diesel
