Looks like a 48 volt system . . . it's probably pretty peppy and has a decent top speed, but I wonder what kind of range it has?

Approx 20 miles on a full charge,  8 golf cart batteries + 1 for accessories and lights,  takes 8 hours to charge

Range is almost always where these things come up short.  With lead-acid batteries, you reach a point where adding more batteries doesn't help the range due to the added weight.  But then, if you only live nine miles from work, it sure would be nice to pay a couple of dollars a week to keep it charged and never have to stop by the gas station!

If you could afford a hydrogen fuel cell to supply the electricity, range and weight wouldn't be much of an issue.

I'm 2.8 miles from work, I could easily use this thing for a commuter car. Drive to work and back, charge it up at night.

Are you planning on keeping it or selling it?

I wonder what the speed /power is after about 10 miles,. I can see linda running up Signal Mtn every morn. She is about 15 miles one way.  I read that article in the paper about the 2 Doctors driving their $100k Teslars(?) to Knox and back to Chatt. Thats all it can do ,Then you have to wait 7-8 hours to get it to move. What a joke

Hell! just run your IC engine on hydrogen. Its less dangerous than Gasoline(true) and 0 emission's and no 500 lb battery load to drag around.
