^^^^ Now that you have seen it in person all cleaned up, you have to agree, it is quite ridiculous.

The pics don't do it justice.

Got my legal title in the mail week before last.

I think this might have actually moved me into the running for the award for the highest number of legally titled disabled vehicles in Eastern Tennessee.....

 :thumbs-up:

Now I can actually start working on it.   8)

Haven't forgotten about you for the other pieces, KC.  I'll get with you soon.  the garage thing is finally settling down a little.  Finally got the new slab poured yesterday, siding going on....

I just want  a place to put my tool boxes for crying out loud.

So this obnoxiously green beautie has been napping out back at work, waiting on me....

The double is at home, about done with that for now.  The weather is getting better... thought about selling it, but just can't make myself do it just yet.  De-greased the engine compartment, then today started cleaning up all the oxidation from the paintwork. The paint is a lot better than i expected.  Hoping to finish up the external cleaning in the next week or so, then do up some florpans, abuild me an engine on the cheap, get it stopping, and that's about it for now.  Just tired of nothing running.  The double is almost done, this is a quick and dirty, an the camper will be under way shortly.   8)

The double cab is still languishing in the garage, 90% done, but waiting....
Got a paying customer parked next to it, so little debate who gets fixed first....

Meanwhile, plugging along on this little cubic zirconia.  Got the majority of the exterior buffed out with a little polishing compound and an electric buffer.  Wiped her down with a little Mother's Carnuba Wax so all of my efforts are not lost.  All of the emblems were tucked away nicely in a box of stuff that KC included with the sale of the car.  That was nice.   ;)  Got those all polished up, they turned out pretty nice.  In the process of tearing down a couple of core engines now, leftovers from Lockhart's VW's closing days.  Trying to cobble together a decent engine on the cheap.   ;)  About to start collecting up all the other mechanical parts.  Once the other bus is done, probably gonna bring the welder down and fix up the floors.

Pics are for real... not freshly wet, these were taken with the car dry.....  :D  Couple of places that look like bad paint in the photos are actually where a bird crapped on the car right after i rolled it outside... Nice... ::)
