Found a single port motor in the neighbors garage and picked it up for the ghia,  guy used to be in to vws and pulled it from a running vehicle to put a bigger motor,  the dash pad I bought appears to be the wrong one,  but I almost have enough stuff to make it drive,  need time now

What tin do you need?

I had some folks inquire but no one seemed serious. I thought I'd get more than I did since all of the other ones there were really nice and out of most people's price range. I'm not exactly dying to get rid of it. I figured someone would come back with an offer. Shucks, I guess I'll keep it for a while longer! ;D

The ones I think I'll need are single port tins around the jugs,  the rear one and the front with heat risers,  pretty sure ghia and big should be the same

Yep,
But I drove the Schwagen.
I have ordered a 1776 SP engine for the ghia.
I have some neat Go fast goodies for a SP and want to make a 60's racer look engine out of it, gonna run the Blue screamer 019 disto I have and am working on getting the rest of the Kadron set up for this engine.
Going to send the OEM block out to get it repaired.
