71 Super with new paint..

Dang you.. Isn't it amazing how new door seals around the outside of the door will make one easier and more safer feeling? WOW.. I haven't glued them in but they fit tight and I figure that if it comes loose I will glue them after I scuff the paint to make the glue stick better..

Are we gonna start comparing sb's to standards? All of that from a paint discussion?  I like odd colors on vw's especially if your gonna get crazy with it.

The door seals in my 74 Super were pressed into the seal groove without any kind of adhesive about 10 years ago and they are still there.  You probably don't have to worry about glue.

Well everyone I was thinkin about trading the bug for a 1989 toyota four wheel drive needs some work but nice. brand new jasper engine still under warranty, with 40k miles it is a v6 with a 7inch lift kit with all ranchero parts, done up right.. Extended cab too. I think I will enter the car into the show tomorrow to maybe get something to have for life. But later I may buy a pre 65 bug like i want.. Thanks

STAY AWAY FROM JASPER MOTORS I REPEAT STAY AWAY,STAY AWAY FROM JASPER MOTORS. I know the owner of a large garage in Lafayette that sells junkper engines and he will tell you don't buy them. Don't say you wasn't warned.
