Rebuilt the 30 pict one carb,  replaced the plugs, wires,  fuel pump,  need the clean the gas tank,  gonna be driving it this summer

You dang well better stake the brass inlet on the carb top or buy something to put the fire out   :o :o

^^^^ What David said... stake it and safety wire the hose/inlet pipe to the carb body.

Rick had mentioned that at the show ,  it pulled put while I was removing the fuel line

Using evapo rust to clean the fuel tank,  it was so bad.  No wonder this car would barley  limb a hill

Well the beetle is alive again and has found a new home,  at least I can say this project made it to drive away instead of towed away
