I'm busy finishing my Ghia but after this weekend I might trip and fall on it with a chop saw if nobody wants it.
JR give me a call whenever you want to check it out. I'll hold onto it until ya do.

The Ghia terrorized Ringold rd just minutes ago. :D
Driving without a rear bumper might not be such a great idea so I gotta go fix that and a few more wiring problems. But she runs good and rolls out just fine.

Not really that great on the maiden voyage. It was cuttin out and then died in the middle of Ringold rd. Possible culprit ...worn out chokes?? I dunno I just want it to end oh and bonus my rear tires are to wide and rub. Hoooraaayy!!!! :?

The fronts lower than the back.. :?  Yeah they probably were esy to adjust 30+ years ago. Now they are about as much fun as the webers I had on the 67. Yeah Its lower than stock but it's still purdy and she'll roll out. 8)
I'd bring it by but it wont make it into your driveway and I dont want to be shot at by a dasher launcher, musket or any other contraption you have waiting.

On subject: replacing the worn out chokes helped alot. Replacing the rear tires with 165's and new shocks didnt hurt either. Just a few small ticks to work out and I can start driving it further than East Ridge.

Car runs great after Rick stopped by and tinkered with it.
Unfortunatley I need a set of pre 65 short axels. The set I had was worn a bit too much and didnt make the cut.

My pleasure to assist with the tuning, sir....

In all honesty, i think this one is a bit low for me....i think i strained sumthin climbing up out of it......

I wonder how long  it takes to wear out axle bearings and tires ? I really don't see how the brgs could get enough lube to stand the strain with the rear tires trying to run "toe out" at speed and trying to make lube run up hill.

I have plenty o bearings and I know how to order tires.
I am considering using a sealed bearing in the future if it becomes and issue. Another trick I have used is to jack up the rear end and let it run with the axel tubes sagging down occasionaly to get some lube to them suckers.
