I guess I'm an admiral now, I have a fleet of 3 beetles that run and drive....

I will take so i can have some spare parts if i need them.... I can swing by and get them at lunch time some day, let me know when.   8)


Rick, somewhere in the dungeon I have the 2 "Greenlee hole" punches for installing the vents. I have installed a bunch of those at the dealer . They worked really well . You had better keep the floor clean though  or the vents would do it for you. Right in the kisser and mouth  ;D

Here are some updated shots.  I made a roof rack and even found a 1970 Tn. plate for it.

Hey Rick what did ya make the roof rack out of ? I may need to have ya make me one for my new vw project. Also the wife told me to bring ya the engine and have ya do the work on it so she knows it runs right.........  ;D

Sorry, the roof rack was a 1 time only event!  Took too much time! :P 
Here's whats been up...had a rotted framehead so off it came and up it went.  2in. framehead raise,1 in back and added 8 degrees caster.  Had to add a U joint to the steering column and raise the gas tank 3in. in front and 1.5in rear, this kinda leveled it out but I was still able to use the filler neck without modding it.  Now I have a low car NOT just a low BJ beam! 8)

I NEED to do that also even tho mine has no rust..... how much you charge to do that on a 70?
