Last night's progress....making progress, finally getting into the welding of the driver's side.  The door opens and shuts now just like a real car. I loved the Dukes of Hazzard as a kid, but the thought of attempting to guide my big arse in and out of the sliding window was too much for me to comprehend...

More pics, from grafting in the rear quarter section.  just tacking everything, getting it all in place, then later will come the pretty welds...

using sections of metal that i  created a flange on to overlap behind the panel and fill the gap


starting to join the two sections


final fit of the rear lower section

Been on hold for the last 2 or 3 weeks.  Been setting up the new studio space at the house.  On top of that, I'm leaving the dealership after this week.... 5 years in the same place, taking me a bit to clean up.  Heading back to the independent shop route.
