So, during the interior stripping, thought all was well, but had a little mishap... a big one actually.  On the dash, and only on the dash, i started seeing some seperating in the original paint, in perfect rectangular shapes, almost like something had been applied to the dash at some point that was eating up the paint, causing it to lift.  I tried to stabilize it with some clear, but it only wrinkled.  So, I sanded the whole lot down, cleaned it up with some high build primer and spot glaze putty, and shot it with some touch-up L31 Dove Blue that i had mixed at Auto Color.  Looks kinda pretty.  I don't like to get side-tracked, but  as much as i love og paint, the thought of looking at that mess the dash had become didn't interest me in the slightest. Now, back to the harder stuff, enough with the frilly beautification....

sanded all down

Filled, primed

the final result

Not those talents, Scott.  This is the family oriented site.  Those are for another internet site.....

Thanks for the props.  "restore", however is not the right word.  I am merely going for "revive".

Put some pieces back on the nose to get them off the floor and out of the yard.  Straightened the damaged bumper ( mostly straightened it   )

Also, cleaned, re-sprayed the headliner panels and put them back in.  Doing this at work, if i take whatever it is off, i really need to put it right back on to keep on the good side of the powers that be. Not really an option to leave more sitting around than i already have.

Now i gotta change directions again, and get back to the nasty cutting and welding of stuff.

For the record, i can't imagine how it could look much worse, so my efforts are not that big of a deal.

Thanks for the compliments, anyway.  Wanna trade for a T34 Scott?  Oh, wait, you traded that one.
