Well due to winter being cold and the fact that I hate cold weather, and a growing child (now 1 year old) needing more of my time, I have not had time to work on the car and report any progress.  Well this week I have finally cut the torsion bars for my narrowed beam project.  Today, I dimpled the torsion bars, blasted the control arms and installed new ball joints.  Hopefully I will be able to post pictures of an almost rolling chassis.

We do keep braided hose and AN fittings in stock.  We do not stock any already made up hoses, etc.  Come see me and I'll do my best to help ya out.

I was beginning to wonder. I've checked for updates a thousand or ten times.

Well I did not get a full rolling chassis like I had thought I would.  I knew nothing about the camber adjustment spacers (or whatever they are called).  They are sitting at work in the bottom of the trash can with the old ball joints.  I will retreive them on Monday and start again.

This lil guy here  http://www2.cip1.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=VWC%2D131%2D405%2D319

Thanks for the offer Scott.  Thats what held me up from finalizing the installment of my drop spindles.  At first, I thought I had ordered the wrong upper ball joints.  I went back to the above site (link) and noticed those spacers and remembered seeing something like that on the old ball joints.  I will get em Monday and go from there.  I do have rear wheels and tires on it, first time in a year!!!!  I was gonna do a full resto on this but with the lack of time and cash, I think I am gonna get the mechanicals right and put her back together.  I can work on her a lil at a time and still driver her at the same time.  I guess it'll be a rat rod for the time being or hoodride, whatever its called.
