OK,
I went to alot of trouble to get all the pieces to make this work, but it was a simple case of not liking the color...
The rest of my car is grey / black inside and the dark brown of the walnut isn't as dark as I wanted it to be.
I had this mounted in a '71 steering shaft so it will fit the older style wheels, I believe the '72's had the all plastic wheels.
The wheel itself is in good shape and all the aluminum rivits are accounted for.
There is some minor delamination of the chrome around the center hub, (served on a buggy at some point..)
I have polished the chrome and with the horn button, this is not a problem.
You will need the little plastic and copper horn ring if you want the signals to cancel and the horn to work.
Your OEM set up comes with this ring.
The horn does work with this set up.  Mount comes with another contact ring that you jump off the OEM one.
Once again, all parts, bolts etc. are included to install this nifty vintage 60's wheel on your VW.
Price?  Well, I want $200 or a neat trade.
A neat trade is something that would make my RHD Jap beetle even more unique.
I am in no hurry to sell, so no low offers.  If you can piece this together for less, go for it.
It took awhile to find a vintage wooden wheel in this condition.

Thanks,
KC
