WTB: Swamp cooler - the more beat up the better

must be cheap, looking for dirty, old, rusted, dented, otherwise useless swamp coolers, as long as they are all there.

I don't know of anyone in the club with one but you can always find them at the shows.

As for "cheap"............I don't think so.  LOL  Even the beat up coolers bring a handsome price.  Good luck!!

BTW......Where have you been hiding lately IntrstlarOvrdrve?

Yeah, the cheapest one I remember seeing at a show was $150.  It was rusty and pretty beat up, but it did work.  It was and electric fan driven model and even with the humidity fairly high it was doing a decent job.  But then, the guy did have it filled with ICE water.

Watch eBay . . . sometimes you can find some real bargins on off season stuff, so now would be a good time to be shopping.  You don't want to try to buy one in August!

I don't know if they still sell them (in fact, I don't know for sure if they are still in business), but Rock Mountian Motorworks did sell a brand new swam cooler for about $450.  It looked like the old ones, but it had a paintable plastic housing.
