Looks like I am going to need to get the following for the ASBeetle:
-Muffler (anyone here put them on?)
-seat covers blue, front only (if possible)
-rear seatbelts (gotta have them for the kids car seats!) Mine are missing.
-BIG socket for rear nuts on axels, I have brakes but they are dragging heavily and I have got to get that drum off and see what is going on in there.
That is about it for now, The seat belts, muffler and the sockett are the 1st things I'll need.

Did you say this car has been sitting since 1986 ?   You mentioned having "draggy" brakes. I would take a good long look at the hydrualic system including ALL hoses.  I have even seen the linings fall off the shoes just sitting there.
