I need the tubes from the heater boxes to the body ,  also a long shot but a good set of heater boxes for the thing,  beetle heater boxes and hoses should work,  time to get some heat in this machine now that I am not a kid anymore ,  let me know what you have

I have a GREAT (still have OEM grey paint on them) set of heater boxes.
Original VW stamped (not Dansk ones).  $150 for the set.

Ok,  sounds great,  you wouldn't happen to have the tubes?

Nope, but I think Alvin in Dalton probably has a set.  Didn't they still have asbestos in them in '74?
Be careful,

Why not just find a rotted '73 and get the BN4 out of it?

I assume you are talking about the gas heater,  those are getting hard to find,  I don't think I would want to modify the car to fit it in,  I have plans someday to fully restore it,  the car has been in the family since 93 and it would be hard to part with
