WTB 12 volt starter and ball joint beam adjusters

« on: July 09, 2009, 06:47:49 AM »
Working on a freinds trike and the starter is out,  he want to go to a show this weekend, any one got a rebuilt one they did not use on a project.  also we think that my dads bettle was lowered by cutting the torsion spring holder and letting the thing drop on the shocks, it rides horible,  so i am looking for some ball joint adjusters for his 67.

No adjusters but I gotta ball joint beam with adjusters in it. I think it's a CB performance job..not really sure it might be 2 inch narrowed but I dont think so,it looks stock width. $100 and you can have it.

Got a starter from mainly,  the trike is doing the same thing, it will start on the first try and then, lug and won't start the car, then will ujust click even though the batt and cables are good.

Ing switch maybe ?     Can you "jump"  from the battery cable  on the starter to the solinoid  wire on the starter  with jumper or screw driver ?
Did you replace the starter bush. in the tranny ?   Ground strap from the tranny to a good ground on the frame ?
