Westy stuff.

« on: April 13, 2009, 09:09:36 AM »
OK, my friend down the road has an ecclectic assortment of stuff for VW's, mostly beetle stuff.  Burried amoungst the piles of window glasses and trunk lids I found a headache cabnet and a clothes closet from a 1976 and latter westy interior.  I had contemplated buying them and cuttng them up for table top materials for my westy but before I do I thought that I would offer them here... He has these 2 parts only and has the rear pad and the Z bed upholstery for a BROWN plaid interior ( I wish that it was green, I could use it to make a suit...)  He wants $110 for them.  He has nothing else for a westy, except for perhaps some wheels, plain steel.

If any one is interested, let me know.  Otherwise I am going to buy the interior pieces and cut them up in an attempt to recreate the table top that I need for my swing table arm...

$110 is for every thing, Also included is the fiberglass top pieces (2) and I believe that the long one still has the hinges on it.  These are the top parts for the latter bays, pivots at back.  (see avatar  <------)
I will try and get pictures of the stuff.
The fiberglass stuff is crusty and has a crack in one corner on the long piece at the back.
He lives about 9 miles south of cleveland off of Dalton pike (or Dalton / Cleveland Hyghway...) PM me and we'll see if you want to hook up and get this stuff.
