Hey Lamar,

I have a set of chrome rims that came off of Justin's super beetle.  They are not stock ones though . . . at first glance they kinda look like stock chromed wheels, but they have more holes than stock and the holes are round vs. the stock wheels oblong holes.  There is some slight rust/pitting in the centers, but they look sharp with stock hubcaps!  The main problem with them is that a couple of them are warped and I can tell you from experiance that you DO NOT want to drive a Super Beetle with warped wheels!  If you can use two of these (I think two of them were actually round) let me know and I'll bring them to you . . . but you have to take bad ones too!  

I have it from a first-hand, raving mad, slightly neurotic source that this situation has been rectified.

It's true? This has been rectified. Thanks to an early arriver to the Taccoa show a full set of used chrome rims were spotted at one of the vendor booths. Upon my arrival at the show my secret parts spy informed me of the rims. I quietly made my way to the booth, throughly inspected the rims, did a little price comparison, then made my deal for two of the rims. I guess I still paid too much because the vendor took my first offer. But, they were two good used rims and the price was somewhat cheaper than the price for new rims.
