WANTED: '80s-'90s factory radio

« on: December 27, 2005, 09:56:18 AM »
Wanted to buy or trade for something you can use out of my pile-a factory VW radio to fit my 88 Vanagon-pretty much any mid-80s through the '90s model will do, with the jacks in back for the factory harness. I'd like one that works and has the code with it. I've gotten TWO DOA radios from eBay and am tired of hassling with it.
So, got one in your garage you took out to put in a CD? Dump it on me and I'll pay cash or trade for something that's equally useless to me!

Call Harry Guinn (866-5322) He said he had one that was not factory but he bought it at the dealer and it plugs right in to factory harness $75.00. He also has some factory radios $100.00 Good Luck hope this helps.

Thanks, but I'd rather not pay that kind of bread. I'd like a factory radio, but when the Kenwood in it works fine it's just a want, not a need. Harry still owes me a set of curtains!
