The best looking Super baja kits have a one piece front end. They hinge at the front and the hood, fenders and all tilt forward. I'm not sure exactly what is involved in putting one on, but it isn't as simple as removing the stock fenders and bolting on the Baja fenders. Any baja kit will involve cutting away a portion of the sheet metal. On Supers, the front sheet metal is part of the structure of the suspension and they are weak to begin with. Again, they look good . . . but the Super Beetle front suspension is meant only for smooth roads. I've seen a Baja'ed Super Beetle that had the front suspension rolled up under the car from hitting a pot hole . . . so if you do Baja it, make sure you are only doing it for the look.
