Glass Action sells them new, but they are kind'a expensive . . . about $500 plus shipping from AZ.

Used Baja kits for Supers are pretty hard to find.  They don't look bad, but Super Beetle front suspension won't hold up well off road, so most Baja bugs are standards.  Keep an eye on eBay and the classifieds at http://www.thesamba.com . . . a used kit for a Super will turn up at one of those places from time to time.  Used kits for standards are fairly easy to find at swap meets, but again, the kits for Supers are rare.

Theres a lot more to it than just unbolting and re-bolting stuff. Check the post that Zen put on here again . It tells you what kit will fit or not

I.M.O.....

1. Sell the Super

2.  Buy a standard

3.  Buy your baja kit for that

 8)

Lot better choice for looks and function of a baja.  I'm just saying,

The best looking Super baja kits have a one piece front end.  They hinge at the front and the hood, fenders and all tilt forward.  I'm not sure exactly what is involved in putting one on, but it isn't as simple as removing the stock fenders and bolting on the Baja fenders.  Any baja kit will involve cutting away a portion of the sheet metal.  On Supers, the front sheet metal is part of the structure of the suspension and they are weak to begin with.  Again, they look good . . . but the Super Beetle front suspension is meant only for smooth roads.  I've seen a Baja'ed Super Beetle that had the front suspension rolled up under the car from hitting a pot hole . . . so if you do Baja it, make sure you are only doing it for the look.
