« on: June 25, 2012, 07:30:47 PM »
Hey you all,

because i m leaving in a few weeks back to Germany, i'm selling my set of VW Bug/Beetle Double Carburetor. Maybe someone is interested in.

http://chattanooga.craigslist.org/pts/3066181127.html

Otherwise it was a pleasure to meet you all and i'm kind of sad to leave Chattanooga. I will try to come back and buy more old VW :)

Regards
Ulf

How big of a pain are these to tune? I wouldn't mind playing with a set, but I don't want to start down a path of misery in having to keep two carbs tuned.

It depends on whether you like to ride and enjoy your Buggy or driving yourself nuts trying to keep twin carbs in sync.  If you have a bone stock engine you won't gain that much for all the hassle you will go through just to make it look racey.  Been there ,done that.

KC doesn't have to worry about keeping them in sync . . . If he get's 'em right once, they will be someone else's problem in a day or two!   ;D

You are very welcome.  Just trying to save you from yourself. Thats my mission in this life. Zen has you figured out. Just be sure to change the oil/ gas mixture in the crankcase before you "Lay" it on some other dude. ;)
