Volkswagen Graveyard

« on: April 07, 2009, 06:31:18 AM »
Guys I am pretty sure that you know of this place but on the outside chance someone didn't I wanted to pass along the information.

There is a VW graveyard at 6375 Highway 411 just south of Maryville, TN called Foothills Imports (856-2196) area code 865?.  You can see all the cars from the road.  I stopped in Saturday and found out that they also have another acre of  cars off site so I'd say about 2 to 3 acres of cars.  There were mostly Bugs but a few buses, a couple of Gias and a couple of Things there.  Lots of parts though so I thought I would let you know.

Everyone that I have spoke with, about VWs, that comes in our store tells me of that place.  I would like to check it out.  Thanks very much for the phone number.  That is very helpful and will save tons of fuel!

I've been there. An old heavy-set lady runs it. She can hardly make it around the house without her oxygen. Lots of stuff pretty interesting stuff. I was warned AFTER i went that they over charge you when you aren't paying attention so be cautious. They are mostly late models although he had an old split camper that I remember being way too expensive for me. The basement is full of new parts and the lot on 411 is most of their project vehicles. All the parts cars are at:

5072 Millsaps Dr, Greenback, TN 37742

The one on 411 is:

6342 Greenback Rd, Greenback, TN

Good luck. Hope someone can revive something from there.
