Hey, my variable resisted wiper asssembly died yesterday in the rain.
I can hear the motor moving, but also hear a grinding noise.
I figure the gearbox is toast.
I need either a '67 wiper assembly w/ motor, or another 6V assembly w/ or w/o motor.
Thanks all,
KC
You do know the gear train is inside the motor. Why do you want a 6V assembly w/or w/o motor ? Did I miss something here ?

Didn't realize the gearing was in the motor.
Really want a '67 2 speed w/ switch.
Thanks.

Pretty bad, I want 12V w/o parking the windshield wipers on the wrong side!
LOL,

Yepper, that is why I want a '67 12v in lieu of a 68+ 12V.  the shafts are the same spacing, and I could make a 68+ work, but the wipers park on the other side on a 68+.
Hence the "wrong side" comment.
-So, ya got what I need?
I might even drive a proper 70 bus over soon and get it... ;D

Really could use a single smoothie wide 5 with a good hubcap for a spare, OR a spare empi Wide 5 that someone may have, older the better.
