Super Beetle seats

I have a neigbor who is looking for a set of front seats for a `74 Super.
complete and in good shape. These have to be the 3 point mounting. I know this is asking for a lot. Black maybe????  Somebody cut up his mounts and they wont fit anything anymore.

   So is everyone else who owns a 74!

Seats out of a newer Mexican bug will slide right in and are MUCH, MUCH better seats.  I think the 76-79 bug seats were pretty decent and will also slide right in.  Short of that, you can change the seat tracks and put pre-73 seats in it or, modify the legs on a set of early water cooled seats so they will fit the existing tracks.  About the only place you'll find "good" 74 seats is in a very low milage bug.  74 bug seats are the sorriest excuse for a seat that VW ever put in any of their vehicles.
