Sold Sold Sold Sold Sold

« on: November 18, 2009, 01:15:23 PM »
I have a 1972 1302 flat windshield super beetle that is for sale. Has no engine or starter, but does have a 4spd trannie. 1 rear fender is good the other is usable with some work. 1 front fender is good (surface rust) the other has a small dent (repairable).
Has an OK hood - Rear apron is cut out, but not the side inner fenders. If full price is paid have a BRAND NEW rear apron that I'll send with it.
Car was bought for interior and engine. I have another interior (minus rear seat) that is in usable shape that can go for another $50.
Pans are patchable, but I would replace, Drivers Heater channel is rust at the bend under dash.
Doors are in great shape with no rust out on bottom, vent windows open and lock as should, windows roll up and down.
These doors will fit any 1968 - 1977 regular or super (non Vert) Beetle.
This is a pretty good shell with good strut towers and a good spare tire area.
Comes with 3 super beetle wheels and 2 center caps (Tires will pump up enough to load on trailer, but go flat in a day or so.)

Will consider trades on aircooled VW stuff.

If interested in just trannie or doors, contact me, but you'll get a better deal on the whole chassis.

If not sold, I plan on cutting up the body for the steel to use on a Karmann Ghia (patches, etc.) and sending the rest to the scrapper (I'll pull all the suspension and trannie first.)
Thanks,
KC
