OK Children , I'm still looking for a shift (tunnel) rod , 4 speed '70 up
Moose has one that I could have, but its in one of his project cars and I rather just find one than "Stealing" his. This is for Brad Baker's ( new member)'73 converted Auto-Stick. I know everyone has one of these laying around

For SOME cars it never ends.  Have you ever had a house project like this:
Paint/ panel the walls and then find out the up stairs shower is leaking down the new paneling.  Rip out new paneling to repair leak only to break off the pipe that goes though the floor to the water heater in the basement. Go  to the basement to turn water off only to find there is no water "cut off" there. Grab wrench and head to the street to the meter cutoff. Bash up nuckles on getting the water off.  Repair pipe in house. Return to street to turn water back on only to find out that you rounded off the meter shut off valve and broke the only wrench that you had to do the job.  Now what !! no water but at least the shower doesn't leak right now.

Leaky pipe story, Jasper TN   about 1993 .   Leaky pipe on the water heater,  shut of the water,  Did something with inner tubes and JP weld.  I cant remember exactly,  but it was something stupid.  Went out the street and turned on the water,  WHile going back in to see if it stopped the leak,  I hear an  Owl.   wHo  Woo Whooo,  I knew the sound because one of my 6 year olds thought he was a owl for a while.   Were was he?  . Whoo whoo whooo,

Holy Smokes!  that kid is 40 feet up a tree , some neighbors come out.   One decides to climb up and get him. At that time,   my other 3 kids run out saying the house is flooding.   2 inches or water cover the kitchen dining room and the Living room.   Ahh memories.  SC
